Craiger, Darrell and crew ran around 50 miles west and were in to fish right away. And then it died. Our buddy on Tuna Time out of Garibaldi experienced the same. And then it started to pick up. Darrel and Craiger stuck it out and he crew ended up with a 21 fish bait stop to end the day with 38. I am hearing VERY good things from the commercial boats a little south of the river. 2026 is shaping up to be a great year, let's hope it keeps up. Mike C  The Legendz crew invited Craiger and I on their 1.5 day shakedown trip and it was amazing.
We ran 55 miles SW and were in the fish the entire trip. 5 guys reeled in over 130 fish in some sporty conditions. There are a lot of tuna out there. Mike C The first sport caught tuna are starting to show up. Reports from today were 20-27 fish, which is damn good for a full moon and early season fishing.. Craiger, Nick, and I are headed out on Legendz for a 1.5 day trip next week. Out last two Legendz July trips were amazing and we hope to have a repeat this year. Salmon fishing went from good to great and today we ended up with 14 salmon and released a bunch more. Salmon fishing is very good right now. Cpt Mike  |
