This season still has a lot of life left in it.
Craig and Darell ran out around 45 mile miles and the customers killed it on bait. Craig, John, me, and the rest of the crew are not quite done yet, so we are going to keep running west a couple of days a week until we get tired, work gets in the way, or the season ends. 2025 is too good to quit until we have to. Mark Coleman killed them yesterday and was done very early.
https://allriversguideservice.com/westport-tuna-charters/ We scrubbed and the boats that tried to cross the Columbia River Bar turned around. We are shut down until Friday. Next week the tides are great and we are hoping for a couple more shots at the tuna. Mike C Fishing is still great.
We plugged the boat yesterday. There is still quite a bit of life left in this season. Mike C We have plugged the boat pretty much every day and today was no exception.
This is the best year ever. Mike C Darrell, Craig, and crew crushed it again.
Pretty much every day we leave the dock we are plugged by noon. Fishing is as good as it gets right now. Mike C I have been on the deck for the last three days and it was amazing.
Jumpers everywhere. By far our highest 3 day average, but that was mainly due to our Sunday crew trip where we got 75 tuna, plugging the boat and a BUNCH of kill bags- we were so heavy we had to slow down on the way in as we were building too much temp in the CATs. The crazy part is that the main mass of fish is not here yet. What a year. Mike C |
