FOOD & LODGING
Salt Hotel is located at the Port of Ilwaco, a few hundred yards from Shake N Bake.
The hotel was recently taken down to the studs and completely redone. The owners, Jules and Laila, are about as friendly as it gets and do a great job on the hotel and pub. Salt has a pub located right on the water in Ilwaco that has excellent food and drinks. There is not better place to stay, eat, and drink in Ilwaco. http://www.salt-hotel.com/ |

The Depot Restaurant is the best restaurant on the Long Beach peninsula.
The owners, Nancy and Michael have been running the restaurants for years and really know food. Their Southern Comfort pork shoulder is out of this world and so is everything else- pretty much everyone agrees that this is the best restaurant on the peninsula and they are consistently voted the top resturant. You will not be disappointed at the Depot. http://depotrestaurantdining.com/ |
