Today was SNB's shakedown run and she did not disappoint.
We ran to Cannon beach and started picking up lings and rock fish right away. One of the crew hooked into something that was definitely not a rockfish and 10 minutes later a 37 lb halibut was on the deck. Fishing was consistent and vey good and after 3.5 hours we had 9 limits of rockfish, ling cod, and two bonus halibut. The Raymarine screen shots shows the amazing schools of fish and bait that we were fishing in . It was the best day of bottom fishing we have ever had on SNB and we can't wait to do it again when we start running in July. Captain Mike

Cpt Darrell and Cpt Craig have been working hard in the offseason giving SNB the attention she deserves.
She ran like a top and hit 33.4 knots at her 2,350 redline. Time to take care of a few cosmetic things and she will be ready to start fishing in a few weeks. We can't wait to get back at it. Cpt Mike |
