Our August 12th tuna charter started out a little ominous.
We headed west into the biggest, blackest cloud I have ever seen.
When we got under the cloud, we were hit by HUGE raindrops and we started seeing lightning.
We soon popped out the other side and all was good.
We found fish right away and had a few "practice" bait stops before everyone clicked.
We got a bait stop going around noon and we were plugged with huge tuna around an hour later.
Since the seas were decent, we headed east at 9 knots while clark carked a bunch of tuna.
Fishing does not get any better than this and my crew is already talking about their next trip.
