The ocean finally sat down again.
After a lumpy bar, we ran out around 19 miles and saw jumpers. Clark got them boiling on bait and it went WFO. Every bait got bit and there were fish swimming all around the boat. We caught them on bait, iron, swimbaits, and I even got bit on a cedar plug I dangled over the side. We broke out the jackpole and every guy on the boat got a chance to jackople a fish. Pretty soon we were plugged and it was time to head in. Chef Tony, head chef at Seratto http://www.serratto.com/ made ceviche as we idled in. Great fishing, great crew, and great ceviche. Headed out at o dark thirty tomorrow to beat the tide. I can't wait to get another crack at them. This is the best fishing on earth right now. Captain Mike Ask and you shall receive. Below is Tony Meyers ceviche recipe: 3-5 lbs tuna loin 1 large white onion 2 Serrano peppers 1 bunch cilantro 6 on the vine tomatoes 3 lemons 3 limes 2-3 Tbs sea salt Method: Chop all vegetables add them to a large mixing bowl, squeeze lemons and limes into the mix, add salt and fresh chopped tuna loins, cover and let marinate for 15min.
