We did not fish yesterday and are damn glad we didn't, as everyone who did took a savage beating.
We looked and the day old SST shot and took our best guess. We went deep SW and started trolling when one of our crew said "birds" and we saw a HUGE pile of birds. We slid in, Clark and John pitched bait, and the ocean exploded. 5 minutes later 6 rods were bent over and our Raymarine sonar screen was lit up with tuna, the most I have ever seen. The fish stayed with us for an hour and when finally got sharked up, we were more than 1/2 plugged. We trolled for 4 hours and it was deader than dead, so we started to troll east and jumped another pile of birds and put 3 more on the deck. All of the fish were pigs. Great ocean, crew, and fishing. Clark and I are at it again in the AM. Captain Mike
