Fishing seemed to be getting better, but we were not sure.
We had Meghan and Andrew, two phenomenal tuna fisherman, on board (they caught 30 of our 42 fish last time they went) so we had high hopes. We ran out to the honey hole and were blanked for an hour, so we started trolling east. We caught one on the troll and there were boils right away. Six fish later, they left. We did it all over again for 6 more a little later. Then we found thick school of hungry tuna and it went WFO. Our killers went to work and pretty soon it was a bloody mess. An hour later we started counting and we were plugged. We left boiling fish and ran home at 27 knots on a nice ocean. Clark and I are at it again in the AM and we can't wait. Captain Mike
