Lots and lots of little things (pumps, wiring, etc..) and some big things (transmission service) were done and it was finally time for us to splash her.
We had a little excitement when we found out the port motor transmission controls were reversed (I was warned) but after a quick adjustment, all was good and she ran great.
SST (Sea Surface Temperature) sat shots are showing a lot of almost warm enough water.
The water needs to warm up and form up the tuna highway, which is looking better every day.
It is shaping up to be a normal year, which means tuna by July 4th, and probably by the last week of June.
We are going to start hunting (and breaking in the new motor) in 3 or so weeks.
Stay tuned.
