We went right back to the honey hole today and got them going right away.
The bite went WFO in 20 minutes and stayed that way. It was more than WFO, it was bat shit crazy. We tied hooks straight to braid and the tuna still fought over the baits. Average time to hook up was less than 5 seconds. After bait, swimbaits, and even a fly caught fish, Clark pulled out the only thing that had never produced, a topwater lure. Sure enough, as soon as it hit the water, tuna fought over it. Tuna exploded on the surface on our Shimano Orca topwater lure. We caught and released fish after fish and then finally tapped out. We left at 7 and were back at the dock by 1:30. It cannot get any better. Clark and I are at it again in the AM. Captain MIke
