After a decent day yesterday, DirtyE, John, and Clark were stoked to run today.
One problem, our drug dealer (bait dock) was not able to get us bait in Ilwaco, and we hate fishing without bait. John took one for the team and agreed to haul a trailer to Willapa bay at 5 AM to get bait. Clark, being Clark, said he would go too. I don't want to know what time they got up to be there. They trucked the bait to Ilwaco, loaded up, and headed west. They burnt a lot of diesel looking for fish. They found a few and even got them boiling, but could not convert. The wind is blowing, so we will be off the water until Thursday, but we can't wait to head west when the ocean lays down. We are getting some amazing reports from commercial buddies down south. There are a lot of tuna headed our way. Stay tuned. Captain Mike
