August trips book out fast, so fast that the Helena Chemical crew (photo below) have already booked our first charter for 2017. It technically is not our first, as we one day booked out forever, so they will be first forever, but you get the idea.
Today the check cleared and it became official. DirtyE and I secured our second charter license and if all goes well, we will be running a second boat in 2017. We are looking for another 42' Herniques, but they are few and far between on the used market. We have yet to jump on one, but the Cabo 40' Express is looking like a pretty good alternative to a Henriques. In other big/small news, DirtyE is now GRANDPA DirtyE. His daughter Aeryelle just had a baby girl. The ITC boys are in Quepos, Costa Rica getting ready for the Offshore World Championship, which kicks off Monday. Lets hope they draw some good boats and release a ton of sails. Captain Mike
