We ran out 24 knots on a sporty ocean to a spot that had been good yesterday.
We trolled up a few, but no takers on bait. We were marking a lot of fish and bait, but they would not come up. We had one bait stop where we went 0/4 and then it shut down. A commercial buddy of ours got them going on the jackpole at the end of the day, so we have some ideas for tomorrow. Fishing is good one day and slow the next and their is no rhyme or reason to it. We did have a confirmed SWORDFISH SIGHTING from 70 miles west of Newport. At it again with John in the AM. Captain Mike
