Too windy, the boys turned it into a bottom fishing trip.

DirtyE and Clark ran west today with our crew, but did not make it very far.

It was blowing pretty hard and it is no fun running 60 miles each way in lousy seas.

All was not lost, as our crew at least got a free bottom fishing trip out of the day.

Tomorrow's forecast looks real good and if it holds, we will be pushing WAY out to see if we can find the school our commercial buddies have been working.

Ted,

On charters we are limited to around 60 miles out due to time constraints (the Coast Guard limits us to 12 hour trips).

Much farther out than 60 miles does not give us enough time to fish.

Sunday is not a charter, so we have more time and are looking at an 80 mile run.
