We ran deep and south, past the corners.
The water was blue and 60 degrees, perfect for tuna. After a few hours on nothing, a troll rod went off and Clark pitched a bunch of bait. Within a minute or two, they were boiling around the boat and we had them boiling off the transom. We popped off a couple and the school sounded and stayed 60 feet under the boat and would not come up. We got another small stop going and a couple more on the troll, but the fish shut down. We did not quite make it into double digits. DirtyE and Clark are at it in the AM. Captain Mike

I got a report from a commercial boat tonight that was off cannon beach about 50-60 miles. They had 35 fish this morning when they shut down tonight they had 126. I don't know if you saw any commi boats in the area but figure you were close.

Did you drop a flat fall on them under the boat?
