I now know what DirtyE was talking about when he said that Wednesday's fish were the most aggressive tuna he had ever seen.
It was a little lumpy, so we ran out slow (17-19 knots). It took around 45 minutes to find the fish and then all hell broke lose. Clark threw out a netful of bait and the tuna were instantly boiling EVERYWHERE. Insane. Every bait got bit, most within 10 seconds. Total chaos. At one point I just tied a hook to braid and a tuna instantly inhaled the anchovy. They were fighting over out bait 2 feet off the transom. We converted a bunch of people into tuna fisherman and ruined some more lives today. I can't wait to do it again in the AM. Captain Mike
